Custom Sealing for Demanding Environments

Our advanced sealing technology is designed for applications where standard products are not sufficient. We develop sealing solutions for moving parts, connectable systems, and complex industrial setups where performance and service life are critical.

For example, inflatable seals are an effective solution for applications that require controlled sealing only when needed. This makes them suitable for many industrial processes where safety, precision, and flexibility are important. We also develop durable sealing technologies for environments exposed to seawater, UV light, ozone, wear, and mechanical stress.

Depending on the application, we can provide or develop custom sealing solutions that better match the technical demands of the project.

different types of Pistonseals frequently asked questions
Piston Seals
Piston seals, also known as piston rings, are used as fluid seal in hydraulic cylinders. Piston seals are located in the cylinder head and seal against the cylinder wall (bore). At Advanced Sealing Technology we offer a wide range of piston seals. Our piston seals provide ultimate protection against leakage and meet user requirements in terms of low friction, easy mounting and compact shape.

Rod Seals
Rod seals are critical components in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, designed to prevent fluid leakage along the cylinder rod. Positioned in the cylinder head, these seals maintain a tight seal against the moving rod surface. At Advanced Sealing Technology, we offer an extensive selection of high-performance rod seals.

Rotary/Rotation Seals
Rotary (shaft) seals are used to hold liquid lubricants in place and to prevent mud and water from entering. Used in applications with oscillating or rotating movements, these seals provide perfect resistance to wear, extend service life and improve long-term performance.

Wipers/Scrapers
Scrapers or wipers scrape dirt, foreign particles, chips and moisture from the rod as it is retracted into the cylinder. With the help of scrapers, contamination of the medium is thus prevented, which also immediately means that damage to the bearing belts, seals and other parts is prevented.

Solving Industrial Problems with Custom Sealing

Featured Case Study

Industry: Water and Waste Management

The Challenge

The customer was looking for a new solution for a water treatment system due to the presence of drugs and pharmaceutical residues in the water. In this case, the sealing surfaces were uneven, so a standard solution was not sufficient.

Our Solution

We created custom inflatable seals which were capable to support the uneven sealing surfaces for the system, based on the information the customer supplied. These seals were then tested and approved by the customer for its compatibility with the system.
